  1. First, wash your face with a light cleanser, or at least splash with cold water.

    Apply your moisturizer of choice. If you don't use daily moisturizer, just skip this step.

    Put on your liquid foundation, covering all the discolored areas on your face.

    After you've put on your foundation, use a very small, oval, fine-haired brush, and rub it in your concealer stick. (This stick should be the same color, if not a tiny bit lighter than your foundation)

    Place the tip of the brush with the concealer on it to the culprit zit, and dab until the red/black color is as hidden as possible.

    Cover the whole thing with a light dusting of translucent powder to whisk away any shine you might have.
